Hello. my name is John Nystrom. I’m a teacher in Western Washington and I am sick of my PC. My life is changing from writing papers and putting together lame presentations to me exploring my photography, wanting to make short films, and rocking out. While my PC is still good it seems to be making me angrier and angrier each time I use it. Slow start up times, more and more issues with people hacking on me, pop up issues most I go any further.

Normally I would just put something on my credit card and pay it off every month. Truth is I’m still paying off this laptop that I’m typing on. I figure that I should have it paid off in two more years. Anyway to tell the truth. I have no more credit, no more room to extend my credit. I’m in over my head but enough about my credit issues. This is what happened.

I was walking through Best Buy wasting time before I had to pick up my wife at work and BAM there it was the brand new iMac. I could not believe my eyes, it is amazing. As I played around I noticed how easy it was to make movies, upload pictures and music. I felt like I was in computer heaven why wasn’t my pc this easy to use? Next thing I knew I was late to pick up my wife.

My classroom is based on computers, my life is about computers. I never owned an apple, I was afraid of compatibility issues. I had friends that owned macs, I played marathon with friends on the macs at my college’s journalism department. I had 3 teal G3s in my classroom that I received from a grant but I have never wanted to truly own one until now.

Please help me buy an iMac! I can buy it with my educational discount at $2100. If I can get 2200 people to just donate $1  I can begin my new computer life. An apple life!
